Jakob Ragnwaldh, Mannheimer Swartling

9.15: Session One - Fast-track arbitration

Saving costs and time is a common theme at conferences. Fast-track arbitration is an obvious solution, but it is less popular than it should be. The SCC has had fast track arbitration since 1995, and it has proved to be a success for both domestic and international arbitration. The panel will discuss the experience of fast-track arbitration from the perspective of the SCC, arbitrators, outside counsel and in-house lawyers.

A rare opportunity to hear prominent Chairpersons in discussion with one another.  Learn about what they like and what they dislike about counsel, how they evaluate witness and other evidence, what they tend to find persuasive or not persuasive, how to deal with the dynamics within a tribunal, and of course those exciting war stories...
